Mark is a Consultant Solicitor and has a wealth of experience acting in a broad range of employment law matters for a variety of clients in both the private and public sectors. He has particular expertise acting in boardroom disputes, discrimination matters and issues relating to redundancies, reorganisations and transfer of undertakings.

Mark originally qualified as a barrister in 1981 and has substantial advocacy experience; he has represented clients in Employment Tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. He became a solicitor in 2003, continuing his specialisation in employment law.

Mark is also an accredited Employment and Workplace Mediator. Using a combination of mediation skills and his experience as an employment lawyer, sensitive and complex disputes can be resolved within the workplace or following claims in the Employment Tribunal.

He has appeared as an employment law expert on LBC radio and BBC Radio 5 programmes, as well as presenting by podcast and webinar. He has been a regular specialist contributor to Employment Cases Update (an online publication) and has had articles published in the Financial Times, the Telegraph, Managing Partner Magazine and Money Plus Magazine.

Mark is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
